City Riots began in late 2005, and played it's first show in April of '06. After a few shows, the band began receiving great reviews resulting in the band scoring some solid supports with touring acts passing through Adelaide including Midnight Juggernauts, Damn Arms, The Inches, Dukes of Windsor, Belles Will Ring, The Mares and Operator Please. City Riots have completed their 5 track EP featuring the singles "Here for the Weekend", "My Favourite T-Shirt" and "Signals Collide". Final production was completed at Melbourne's Birdland Studios by engineer Lindsay Gravina and the EP release was supported by the bands "T-Shirts & TV Screens" East Coast Tour in October 2006 then again throughout 2007. In May 2007, the band released their latest single 'Signs,' which is not included on the EP, and followed it up with another Australian tour to support its release, including hitting WA for the first time. August 2007 will see the band support The Academy Is... and Cobra Starship for an Australian tour kicking off on August 2nd in Perth, WA.
