Music based largely on life experiences, inspired by a wide range of artists across many musical genres.
Regular performer on Heartlands Hayride, the Northeast's largest live country radio show (WDVR-FM).
Performed at Phillies World Series Rally, Dave & Busters, 2008/2009.
Participates in:
- Musicians on Call - brings live & recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities
- Jam For Life Foundation - supports & serves the transplant community through music & arts
- Torchy’s Troubadours Against Lyme Disease, a benefit for Torchy Blaine, friend in music struggling with Lymes
- Combat Veteran Sports Foundation - enhances the recovery process through a community awareness platform / provides recognition of their sacrifice.
About
Chuck Schaeffer, the first of four children, grew up in Whitehouse Station, NJ listening to obscure one-hit wonders, country tunes, Jimmy Buffett and folk music on the family jukebox at his grandparent's bar, while his fellow high school and college alumni of the 80’s and 90’s were listening to big hair rock bands, club music and heavy metal.
He studied the piano at the age of eleven. He was given his first guitar the following Christmas, but didn't pursue the instrument until college, during which he started playing and singing at parties.
His guitar skills developed further during a long period of rehabilitation following major knee surgery. He later studied classical guitar under Alice Artzt of

He fulfilled one lifelong dream of visiting the Grand Ole Opry for the first time in 2006, and looks forward to the opportunity of returning there one day as a performer to fulfill another, performing his song “My Baseball Videos” with Tim McGraw, Heartlands Hayride performers Ann Brown & Bill Brandon, producers Alex & Amy Otey, his buddies Rick & Boz, and the man that gave him the Fender 12-string guitar that he plays today, John Harris.
