In the 1950s,Chuck Berlin attended NYU Heights while he studied Jazz Piano at Juilliard with John Mehegan. After a bout with polio, he returned to music in Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Baltimore. In 1967, he played in New Orleans for almost 40 years, until Hurricane Katrina. The music posted here was recorded July 2005 at the Amphitheater in Chautauqua Institution with Harry Jacobson, Bruce Johnstone, and Lydia Marks. Chuck was terminated withour notice at Lenny's 10918 56th St in Temple Terrace along with all-stars Florian Visan and Don Capone. They are currently at the Heritage Hills CC and Chuck is at Stonechase.
