Chroma / Press

“Good things are worth the wait. It's been about a year in the making, but Jacksonville-based band Chroma has a new album, "Turn the Lights On." Read more at Jacksonville.com: http://jacksonville.com/community/shorelines/2010-10-06/story/chroma-will-release-its-new-cd-show-mojo#ixzz1yL9ulew5”

“Drummer Hayward estimates that the band plays roughly 300 gigs a year and with a median age of 31, they show no signs of slowing down. Originally formed in ’03, Chroma has narrowed down to a razor-sharp three-piece who have shared the stage with artists ranging from P-Funk guru George Clinton to ethnic music mutants Toubab Krewe. The band was recently invited to provide a track for the upcoming compilation “Occupy This Album,” an album which also features such heavyweights as Willie Nelson, Thievery Corporation, Lucinda Williams, Loudon Wainwright III and Devo. Proceeds from the compilation will go towards sustaining the now global Occupy movements. ”
