“Always interested in good design, PhenomenArts has elected to build an experimental Plug-in Hybrid Electric sports car that will average over 100 miles per gallon. The car will be built on a Porsche 911 Targa frame with a Carrera 993 body, one of the most elegant sports cars ever made. It will use 48 HETER LiFePO4 batteries and a WINSUN 15KW Diesel engine for “Regen Engine”. The electric motors will be four AGNI 155R engines with 3.2:1 fixed-ratio gearboxes. On a 230-mile trip from Boston to New York, current calculations are that the car will use less than 2.5 gallons of diesel fuel.”
