Hanging his hat in Calgary, Alberta, but hailing from Shediac, New Brunswick, Chris has been involved in music since the age of six when he was attempting to play his dads guitar to the opening theme songs of his favorite cartoons. Chris unwrapped his first guitar for his eighth Christmas and carried on to play both guitar and bass in various bands, a few of them with his father. Now Chris uses his smooth baritone voice with influences from his days playing country, rock and blues to paint an exciting picture, inciting emotion in every song he sings.
Chris took some time away from music following the loss of his father during a show they performed for a Calgary Stampede audience in 2004, but made his return to music in 2006 with the strength and determination to carve out a successful music career. Moving to Nashville in 2007, he immersed himself in the rich culture of Country music and songwriting. His debut album “Too Much Nothin' “ not only holds two tracks which he penned himself, “Set My Heart on Fire” and “Arrest Me” ,but enlists songs from Brett James “Jesus Take the Wheel – Carrie Underwood” and Vince Melamed “Walk Away Joe – Trisha Yearwood”, in addition to many other Nashville elite songwriters. With his first single “Two Lane Road” written by Karyn Rochelle & Vince Melamed currently at radio, Chris is set to take on Country Radio and put his own stamp on Country Music.
