KickStarter "One Stop Shop"
Direct from the San Francisco Bay area, Chris Ban and his boys, currently operating as a power trio, bash out another trashy classic GlamPunk set of Thunders/Dead Boys inspired Rock and Roll. From the D Generation tinged "Not Thinking About You" to the Stooges flavored "Cheap Disguise", this CD packs a major punch and a good kick in the arse to the trash punk scene.

KICKSTARTER's ONE STOP SHOP has a very punky rock n roll feeling to it, a dirty New York Dolls vibe. Gritty vocals are provided with a nice a Jagger/Johansson swagger to them. The riffs and rhythms are fast and furious that blend perfectly with the vocal delivery. Short songs with great tunes and choruses is where this album is at. It's not big and it's not clever but it is great party music!

“Well if it's sleaze rock you're after then you've come to the right place here - this EP is that scummy-sounding that you'll probably need to go for a shower after hearing it. Kickstarter are a California-based bunch of dirtballs who, at their best, sound like the Dead Boys covering Rose Tattoo(vocalist Danny Dee does a pretty damn good approximation of the late great Stiv Bators which is always a plus). Keep an eye out for 'em."

"San Francisco's Kickstarter bear a striking resemblance to 90s LA strut-rock kings Motorcycle Boy minus the shag haircuts and she-male groupies, but with the same pie-eyed, crotch-grabbing swagger and knack for sleazy riffs and candy-coated pop hooks. This record is getting somebody laid, that's for sure. Why not you?"
