A vibrant seaside town on the east coast of Jamaica may have been where Chillavert embarked on his musical journey. However, this dancehall artiste has long since expanded his horizons, steadily gaining popularity amongst an European audience.

His close friends call him 'chill' which is quite fitting for his easy-going & laid back demeanour. He wrote his very first song when he was just nine and as a teenager formed a group called "Kalm Krew" with his high school friends.
