Solar Visions (also at www.myspace.com/solarvisions,  http://leo1564.co.uk and www.myspace.com/motleyhall) are a new band playing original spacey rock. Three of the band; Mel, Jeff and Mark played together in Transmit and Ripleys Cat playing original music and covers by Radiohead and others. They went their separate ways a while ago but a chance meeting got them at it again. Frustrated searching for a drummer and playing with a drum machine called Errol (Hot Chocolate anyone?) we finally hit lucky meeting Nick our new skinsman. Wish us luck, our first gig may be coming soon!

Chasmos (http://www.myspace.com/chasmos) is a spin-off from Solar Visions doing songs, covers and original, that aren't in the Visions setlist but played and supported by members of the band.

Both bands are influenced by rock, metal, psychedelia and other things (??!!) with Chasmos performing with a bit of electronic jiggery pokery, virtual synth in particular, though both bands like a bit of synthesiser in their music.   Solar Visions are now heading towards playing live and recording some material...in a real studio like (what, we've got to pay for it?) some of which will be landing here and on MySpace ( www.myspace.com/solarvisions ). Right looking forward to recording and gigging we are!       Got to say thanks to MySpace and Reverbnation for being there and being the brilliant vehicles for music and bands they are, and thank you to new fans joining us through cyberspace, I hope we will get to play where you can see us live, and enjoy what is here in the meantime.
