Back by popular demand after supporting Ben Montague at The High Barn in 2012! Lisbee Stainton’s 2010 album ‘Girl On An Unmade Bed’ led to widespread critical acclaim, national airplay and tours across the UK and mainland Europe supporting Joan Armatrading and Paul Carrack. As one of the UK’s brightest new songwriters, Lisbee’s latest album ‘Go’ has seen her star continue to rise. The Daily Mirror describe ‘Go’ as "An edifying experience", while The Independent on Sunday said of the 24-year-old singer, “Lisbee is a stoic solipsist existing chiefly on a diet of grave self-questioning and ultra-idiomatic melody. She's talented." Following her innovative ‘Living Room Tour’, which included a date on the nuclear submarine HMS Vigilant, Lisbee has spent 2012 touring with the likes of Gretchen Peters and Seth Lakeman, the latter of which subsequently inviting Lisbee to become part of his touring band. Seated Admission - seating either allocated by table letter or unallocated in rows, whilst we try to accommodate requests for specific tables, allocations are still subject to change. Doors Open: 7:30pm, Evening Ends at approx : 11pm

After her amazing debut performance at High Barn Introducing in June 2011, Charlie Turner returns to the barn with some friends for an evening of exciting piano-driven music from two young Stortford singer/songwriters - Charlie Turner and Ben Cork (plus special guests.) Benjamin 'Benedict' Cork is a homegrown singer songwriter from Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. Previously a member of the quirky folk-pop quartet Pandora's Box, Benedict is now stepping out on his own recording a demo EP with co-writers and producers at Mind Motion Music Studios, London, under Twenty First Artists Management. An eclectic mix of classical piano, theatrical vocals and poignant storytelling; follow his progress online and live throughout 2012 and beyond. Charlie Turner is a Stortford-based 18-year-old pianist and saxophonist who is becoming a familiar face on the local music scene. Formerly a member of Stortford's Indie-Pop outfit The DC Effect, Charlie is now launching her solo career. Her self-composed, piano-driven songs have proven popular with a variety of audiences and age groups. Charlie has had the privilege of tuition from internationally acclaimed Jazz musician Ray Gelato and has also been fortunate enough to record in The Premises studio, The High Barn and The Pool Studio, London. Tonight, Charlie is thrilled to be accompanied by her 4-piece backing band of accomplished musicians. Between Charlie and Ben, performances in 2011 have included: Brownstock Festival, Secret Garden Party, Troubadour Club, Camden Barfly, Camden Proud Galleries, Hoxton Bar & Grill and the Harlow Square amongst many others.
