Chaos Sapiens
Chaos Sapiens hail from Victoria B.C. Founded in 2000 and formerly under the banner of Gorilla Monsoon, Craig Jones, David Krull and Kirk Saker recorded and toured with a number of front men, but in 2008 decided that a 3 piece band is best for them. Now flying a new flag, CHOAS SAPIENS is ready to take on the world with their Funky Groove bass metal sound. Inspiration from Primus, Clutch, Sepultura and some ZZ Top add layers to the band’s tight jams bordering on chaos.

Formerly known as Gorilla Monsoon, this 3-piece powerhouse continues to threaten with the new moniker, Chaos Sapiens.
Produced by Danny Deane, this project was recorded over a 2yr period and features various performances by some of the bands previous lineup of live vocalists. The result is the newly released "The Crazy People Project" - a collection of material that is sure to confuse and amuse.
