Chainsaw Weasel is a multi-instrumentalist and producer that is not limited by a single genre. His music continues to evolve and devolve as inspiration ebbs and flows through the currents of life. His most current project is a mix of guitar driven songs that mix both primitive riffs with electronic and found-sound monkey business.

“Chainsaw Weasel’s latest outing “Isolated Incident” is a lesson in honesty by way of spoken word over slow funk jams. Longtime Weasel fans already know what a force Tony V is, writing and recording music that a whole band would be hard pressed to perform. “Incident” slows things down, lulls the listener into … listening … as the fearless poet riffs on slow-motion house beats. Tony V spills his guts with the passion of a street preacher, but without the arm flailing and psychobabble. “Words Have Meaning” cautions against loose lips (words have meaning … can’t toss ‘em like a hand grenade) and showcases Tony’s immense skill as a bassist. Another standout track is “Red Sands in C Major” – a brooding mood piece – the sound you’d hear in the crescendo of the most suspenseful movie ever.
“Isolated Incident” is the work of an accomplished writer, a musician with cinematic vision for his songs, someone whose words have meaning.”

Working on a new song

I am working on a new "song" to debut at Out of the Bedroom soon... its another poetry over music... I laid down the guitar tracks yesterday, used a very cool Upright sample sound for the bass line and programmed some simple midi-jazz drums... I hope that the story is compelling and entertaining and you love it...
