"It's really great news for Central New York in fact for all of us bluegrass fans that Chad Darou has put together a new bluegrass band! Even better news, Chad has included the great singing talents of Liza Atkinson, a young lady with a good number of years wowing audiences with her great voice and stage presence. And might I also mention that Jim Treat, Cristina Cox and David Carey are among the finest musicians in the northeast as well. This will be a wonderful boost for bluegrass in the Empire State and elsewhere!"

"Tone, timing and touch. Chad Darou and Stealing Time get it. One of the best new bands I've heard in a long time. These guys should be touring the country with their excellent blend of instrumentation and harmony vocals. A great line-up of singers and musicians that understands what high lonesome is all about. Right and tight!"

KJAG Music News
“We are so fortunate to have Chad Darou & Stealing time playing for us, this Saturday night at 7:30 PM. On very short notice they accepted this gig and I really hope we can all show our appreciation for this generous contribution to our schedule.
In addition to being the 2008 National Banjo champion, Chad is also more than just an accomplished Dobro player, as he will be leading a workshop at the Joe Val Bluegrass festival next weekend on that instrument. His bass player, Jim Treat, played in Carnegie Hall, need I say more? And not only that, Bill Monroe, the father of Bluegrass music, once sat in with Jim's band. And Liza Atkinson rounds them out on vocals and guitar. I hope you can come out and hear this fine band.
