Q: Which Broadway Musical would you most like to sing the lead in?
A: There are a few... I used to sing songs from Les Mis all the time, particularly "On My Own" and "I Dreamed a Dream". I absolutely love that story and would love to sing those songs and play a leading role the way I know I can. I also saw Wicked in New York and loved it! I know I could belt out those songs in the role of Elphaba. I also love that storyline. For all of those roles I mentioned, I can relate to those characters in some way, and I would interpret my part to portray the soul of my experience. Bring on some Barbra Streisand. I get compared to her a lot. If you didn't already know, my "Prisoner" was originally performed by Barbra Streisand in 1978. I actually have two versions, which you should check out! I also love the music from The Scarlet Pimpernel and Jekyll and Hyde.. A role I actually played years ago was Dorothy in "The Wiz". I came up with my own interpretation of the character and the music that really worked with the audience. I know how to play the part of the broken hearted. And I love singing the depth of those feelings... I'm sure I could go on and on about music, songs I love to sing, and roles I'd love to play, but I think this is enough for now... ;)
