THE 2ND ANNUAL THANKSGATHERING! HOLY SHIT WE MADE IT! Another year in the making of one of the finest displays in underground music on the East Coast. THE THANKSGATHERING HAS RETURNED!!! LINE UP: Toxsick & Shift The Real Chaos The MF'n Dirty Catarina Shiflett C4 (of The Undustry) Dead Mike (of Unstable) Zom'B D-Evil CONTESTS: (CROWD PARTICIPATION ONLY) $1 MERCH RAFFLE: Buy as many 1 dollar raffle tickets as you like for a chance to win 50 dollars or more in free merchandise. All proceeds go to the Mike Jones Benefit. Help a homie out! FREESTYLE BATTLE: A total of 8 MC's will be chosen from the crowd excluding artists performing at this event & will be given 45 seconds per round to compete 1 on 1 against their peers until the final round where each MC will be given a minute & a half a piece for a chance to win a 50 dollar cash prize, an optional slot to perform at next year's ThanksGathering & of course, the title of "TGBK" (ThanksGathering Battle King) THE FAYGO FLOAT CHOKE: A total of 5 competitors will be chosen from the crowd to come on stage & sit at the Table of Champions where they will be given a 1 gallon tub of Vanilla Ice Cream & a 3 Liter Faygo Root Beer. The objective, or goal, of this competition will obviously be to eat & drink, or mix to make a Root Bear Float if they choose to do so, as much of the Ice Cream & Faygo Soda as they can possibly ingest within 5 minutes. The winner of this contest will also recieve a 50 dollar cash prize as well as a fresh T-Shirt from the merch booth which Im sure they will need. That being said, keep in mind that if you plan to compete in this challenge you may want to bring an extra set of clothes! Tickets go on sale soon for $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Artists will recieve 2 dollars per ticket sale at the end of the night but must sell all 20 tickets to be paid, but NOT to play! So fans... help your favorite artist on the roster get paid for their performance & help yourself save 5 dollars by getting your ticket in advance from them!
