Ivor Novello Award Winner, Drummer and Music Producer Cassell was raised in the East-End of London (Forest Gate) and made his start as a drummer at the age of 11. During his early teens Cassell was part of a well respected jazz/funk fusion band 'Quite Sane', who went on to win Capitol Radio 'young london band of the year', who shared the stage with great acts such as ' the Roots' and 'James Brown'.
