2000 - Matt makes music and names it 'Caruso'.

2001 - He records a demo with 9 million songs and sends it to every record label ever. A nice guy named Anthony in England puts out a record and Caruso is officially born.

2002 - Lots of music is recorded.

2003 - See above.

2004 - After a hand full of releases, Matt decides to book a poorly planned tour of the UK with Baltimore band Cicaeda. Chaos ensues.

2005 - Lots of music is recorded.

2006 - A local group is formed to finally begin playing local shows. Locally. Matt asks his best friend's ex-boyfriend Matt B. if he wants to play guitar and he says "yes". Matt also answers an ad placed by a girl named Alex asking for a guitarist who loves the San Francisco band Henry's Dress. He convinces her to play in Caruso.

2007 - Matt and Matt and Alex decide to change the name from 'Caruso' (the maiden name of Matt's grandmother) to 'Minchia' ('cock' in italian). It was funny at the time. They recruit Matt B.'s friend Dan to play drums. Dan quits a while later, so Matt and Alex meet guitarist Wesley at a bar and ask him to play drums. He says 'yes'. Shows are played.

2008 - Josiah is met and he starts playing drums instead of Wes. Julie is met and she starts playing keyboard instead of Matt, who never played keyboard to begin with. Show is played.

2009 - The name changes back to Caruso and an album is recorded by Wes. More music recorded.  Bassist Noah is met and plays guitar.
