Bob Dylan performing in front of a makeshift backdrop, Skip James from Bentonia, MS, Joan Baez... celebrating American Music folk music where content is King! A 4 day festival - September 25, 26, 27, 28 - that celebrates the American Folk Music Heritage - past, present and where ever it might go in the future! It's 4 days, 3-5 stages and right in the heart of the Mountain Kingdom - The Jewel of The Mountain Empire - Unicoi, Tennessee... We have a new location, and a wonderful program... DIRECTIONS (from Asheville, NC) Traveling west on I-26, take exit 28 (Okolona Exit) to stop sign at bottom of ramp. Turn right and travel to next stop sign. Turn right onto Roan St. (old Erwin/Johnson City Hwy) and travel 2 miles. Watch on the left for our sign and a covered bridge. Follow our driveway through the covered bridge (no buses through bridge; continue past main entrance 100 feet to bus parking area). (From Knoxville, TN or Abingdon, VA) Traveling east on I-26 (from I-81), take exit 28 (Okolona Exit) to stop sign at bottom of ramp. Turn left and travel to next stop sign.
