Q: "Sand in My Boots" is a pretty nice little diddy. Where did you get the idea for it?
A: I didn't realize it was a nipple. And I got the idea for it from a casual conversation involving plans to go to the beach. I wore those ridiculous knee-high boots from the video on a regular basis, and my conversation partner mentioned something about getting sand in my boots. The song just wrote itself in 4, 5, or 6 days. Also, I really did get sand in my boots. It was an incredible pain in the ass. I also got sand in my camera, and that was the end of it.
