Listen - there’s a new sound in the air, and something is very different about it. The intricate songwriting and forward-thinking message support the band’s talent with substance and sincerity. After forming in 2002, the band quickly replaced most of the lineup, keeping the name though its origin is comically unknown. Captain Squeegee released their debut full-length album, “Nothing vs Everything,” in July of 2008. The reach of their appeal has grown considerably as a result, generating interest throughout the U.S. and even internationally. Get used to that new sound, because this is only the beginning.

Hello! Welcome to Captain Squeegee’s ReverbNation page. We officially protest trendiness and short-lived flavor, but we’re glad you’re on OUR page checking out OUR band and the other bands we enjoy. We started a long line of music-making in 2002 but THIS set-up has been “set-up” for about 3 years now. And we’re proud to say that THIS set-up is finally creating the type of music we know you’ll enjoy as much as we enjoy making it.
Captain Squeegee has been around for quite some time, yet their current musical voice is truly a new-born babe. Full of horns, rock, progressive sounds, and plenty of conceptual music, this is unordinary music, for unordinary people... kinda like the band themselves.
The band released their 6-track EP (Behind the Metal and Metric Pace) in 2006 and are VERY excited to bring it to your ears for extreme listening pleasure and mind-blowing content. YET, the brand new album “NOTHING vs EVERYTHING” is the bands first serious offering. Full of Floydian transitions, infectious melodies, and productional brilliance, this album is bound to make you EXPLODE... possibly implode... they haven’t decided yet. But it’s gonna happen to you.
