The Canyon Animals crew consists of emcees Jack the Mc and kite93, and deejay Samplistic. Based in Phoenix, AZ, they have shared the stage with Black Sheep, Raashan Ahmad, One Be Lo, Adverse, Illogic, Abstract Rude, Sweatshop Union, Noah 23, Sole, Themselves, Sandpeople, and many more.

The three worked for several years within short-lived groups Homeless Poetic and The Community Project. Although both crews split up, the trio have remained intact and are now working on the Canyon Animals’ debut album, set to release early in 2010.
