Camira has always been enthralled by Hip-Hop and Rap music from a young age. Growing up with an older brother and sister who were into the likes of N.W.A, Cypress Hill, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, 2Pac and Biggie...it was inevitable Camira would grow to love Rap music aswell. He grew up in Salisbury Downs for the first 8 years of his life before his family moved to the small country town Mannum. Camira was still influenced by Rap music rather than the Rock and Country that was all around him. During classes Camira would be rapping or constantly talking about rap. Camira had a rough school life, not getting along with the teachers and constantly getting detention and suspension every other day. When he was 16 Camira's family moved out of the country and back to Salisbury. This was when Camira started focusing on rapping alot more seriously. Since the first song he wrote he's never looked back. Camira is constantly getting better and trying harder to be the best. In late 2007 he completed his first mixtape "The Birth Of A Legend" and showed that he was gonna be around for awhile. His second mixtape entitled "The Other Side Of The Tracks" was finished in early 2008 and has been an absolute classic. It is available to be downloaded from Camira's myspace page as is "The Birth Of A Legend". Camira has collaborated with Rappers; IceCold N Deezy from Mississippi, Los from New York, Teacher Preacher from Georgia, President A.C from Memphis, Don Tino from Texas, Tru Colorz from Sydney, Van Demonz representer Tru Blue and Legacy, both from South Australia. Camira will be featuring on Van Demonz member Tru Blue's debut solo mixtape "Tru Blue Presents: Lost & Found" soon to be released, aswell as a collaborative mixtape with IceCold N Deezy. He is affiliated with the 4-5-6 Movement out of New York started and run by rapper/producer Syncere www.myspace.com/syncere456. It's a worldwide movement and it contains some of the most talented unsigned artists you will hear. There may be a mixtape in the works soon.
