Even months after the wake of Hurricane Sandy devastated through 24 U.S. States, hurricane victims are still in need to help rebuild their lives and their homes. Damage in the U.S. is estimated at over $63 billion. SF Cares: A Hurricane Sandy Benefit, is a concert to help those in need with all donations going to the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross, since the beginning of Hurricane Sandy, has sent 9,000 workers, with the majority going to New York and New Jersey, 6 million meals and snacks and is continuing to provide shelter, food and emotional support to those affected by the disaster. Drummers!!! Come watch and listen and be amazed as local drummers showcase their rhythmic abilities in this years Drum Off competition hosted by Guitar Center. Each drummer has three minutes to do their thing in a percussive attempt to win the judges' votes.

Private Show: Battle Of The Bands @ Continental Club, Oakland It's true, a working musician will get nowhere without their fans! I can't do this one by myself. That's why I need YOU to come and help me make an impact in this world. This is an ALL AGES EVENT!!! There will be 5 bands (including me) competing on June 30 from 8pm till 2am to be noticed by representatives from major record labels. The order will be determined at the show, so nobody knows when they will go on until show night. 1 to 2 bands will advance from this night to compete in the next round. Each patron receives a vote upon paying the cover charge. They also receive a vote every time they buy a drink. There is a secret judge that will pick the best band of the night, and the audience will pick a band. If the secret judge and the audience pick the same band, only one band advances. If they pick different bands, then two bands advance. Advancing bands will be announced at 1:30am after all votes have been tallied. The finals will be judged by three A&R reps from major record labels. The overall winning band will also receive $2,000 cash. Here are the list of bands competing June 30th (NOT IN ORDER): 1.
