The evening marks Austin-born Chris Duarte’s 50th Birthday and promises to be the cosmic guitar explosion his fans have come to expect from this tremendously gifted slinger. Chris is also celebrating the release of his latest album My Soul Alone, with many special musical guests expected to show up and jam.

Blues guitar diva Liz Melendez opens the show with a cannon barrel shot of smokin’ guitar and vocals, and later will join Chris onstage to set the room ablaze with Melectric Duarte-vishnu riff-tasticness!  A double dose of the best in blues right here at the 120!

Live at The 120 Tavern & Music Hall: Kickin' Valentina, Asphalt Valentine and Filthy Rebel! $10 at Door With a little bit of sleaze, a little bit of blues, and a whole lot attitude, KICKIN VALENTINA have secured their place in the Southeast and are quickly gaining attention and traction across the US and overseas. The band has already performed with artists as diverse as Buckcherry, Queensryche, Pop Evil, Fozzy, Eve to Adam, Faster Pussycat, Nonpoint, and Cilver, while their first single “Get Ready” is already a fan favorite on radio stations around the world, and one of the top requested songs on Hard Rock Nights and Canada’s Rock X Radio. Both “Get Ready” and the standout track “Alone” will be featured in the upcoming action horror movie Altered from award winning film director Kely McClung (Summer 2014 release). ASPHALT VALENTINE is without a doubt a rock and roll band. Five Atlanta based musicians got together to combine all those aspects of the 'spirit' of Rock and Roll. "How's about you and me, mix a little gasoline, just to see how long, we can make it burn". What happens when you mix rock with soulful vocals and toss in eclectic tastes in music? You get Filthy Rebel…mutt rock at the most ear pleasing level! This band of brothers takes you back to the progressive rock of other generations with ass kickin’ bluesy vocals that brings out your best air guitar moves. Filthy Rebel crosses several genres of music to give you a swampy, dirty, groovin’ rock you’ve been craving.

Whitey Morgan and the 78’s LIVE with The Law Band at The 120 Tavern & Music Hall in Marietta, GA on Friday, October 10th at 8pm. Whitey Morgan is an American Honky Tonk artist from Flint, Michigan. In Flint, the factories are closed, jobs are scarce and the people are bitter. Whitey sings songs these people can relate to. In much the same way his grandfather and mentor did over 3 decades ago, to a whole generation of southern transplants who came up US-23 to Flint looking for the good life. In the spirit of William Morgan, Waylon, Merle and Paycheck; Whitey’s melodies help people forget their problems for a few hours and serve as the guideline for drinking sorrows away. Emerging from the Detroit area music scene, Whitey relentlessly tours the country spreading his sound and attitude everywhere he goes. He play's honky tonk tunes in any club in any town without apology—he and his band mates drive their point home just like their families drove the cars they built on the line home from work. With a purpose. Ripping 200+ shows a year, you can count on Whitey Morgan to deliver and then some. "If I could, I'd play everyday all day. Maybe at some point, I'll be so lucky to have such an option." If you asked his feverishly loyal audience, they'd firm agree with him. "My fans are nothing short of amazing. They come back time and time again and each time they bring more & more people. That's as good as it gets in my book." and more, but at this point you are tired of reading this shit.
