 | Hello again everyone
on the mailing list, and those that are happening by and reading this. First off
I’d like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from Eroded Pride. Next, I
would like to say that there hasn’t been anything from us in about four months
and though we have been silent in that time, things have not been quiet for us.
To start, Khristine’s mom had Shoulder replacement surgery and we had to care
take for her during her recovery. She is doing fine and recovering well. During
that same time period, our 7 year old German Shepard dog, Kaiser, who we had since
he was a nine weeks old puppy, deteriorated from genetic issues common to his breed
and we had to have him put to sleep to end his pain and suffering. That I think
was the most
painful time for us, for he touched our lives in a special way. We are still
mourning his passing, he was more than a mere pet to us, he was like our child.
Someone even said to me, which is true in a number of ways, that I cared more for
Kaiser than I do people. I will miss him greatly. On top of all of that, my mother
informed me that she has stage 4 throat cancer. She is being treated for it and
the doctors have determined it is isolated to one spot in her throat. Thankfully.
So with chemo and radiation treatments she has a 70% chance of beating it. If anyone
reading this is religious, if you could please say a prayer for her I would
personally appreciate
it. As if this tragic Lifetime movie of the week couldn’t have any more drama,
my little brother is going through a divorce, which I will not delve into, but has
also put some emotional strain on our lives. That has been our last four months
in a nutshell. Now that you know why we’ve been silent,
let me move onto some more positive news. The Erosion Factory, Eroded Pride’s
official store, has tons of great Christmas gifts including sweatshirts for these
cold winter months! Our album “Surviving Reno: The Biggest Little headache”
as also available there as an actual hold in your hand CD or digital download and
also makes a great gift.
Eroded Pride will be releasing two cover songs next month!
In honor and respect of and to the Rolling Stone’s 50 years, our version of
“Paint it Black”, which will be available as a single at the Erosion
Factory and a Christmas song. Yep, you read right, a very special Christmas song.
This isn’t your traditional Christmas song, so right before it is released,
a link will be available so you can listen to the original version of the song we
are doing. I could go on and on, but I will save some stuff for next month’s
newsletter.

the honor to perform in two of the most beutiful places in Greece, Corfu and Kastoria
and two of the most beloved stages. So here

την Παρασκευή 23
Νοεμβρίου, στις
7:30 το απόγευμα, θα
μας καλωσορίσουν
οι Antihero μια μπάντα που
παρόλο το νεαρό
της ηλικίας τον
μελών της έχει πολύ
καλό και δεμένο
ήχο, έχουν στο ενεργητικό
τους αρκετές
συναυλίες και
ένα Demo με τρία τραγούδια.
Μετά την σκυτάλη
θα πάρουν οι Denial of Existence
μια καινούργια
μπάντα που παίζουν
κύριος διασκευές
από Τhrash και Death Metal συγκροτήματα.
Μετά θα ανέβει στην
σκηνή μια από της
καλύτερες μπάντες
της Κέρκυρας, οι
Aphotic Dimension όπου το 2011 κυκλοφόρησαν
το πρώτο τους E.P.
με το όνομα Sins που
περιείχε έξι κομμάτια.
Απέσπασαν πολύ
καλές κριτικές
ειδικά για την δεξιοτεχνία
τους και τις πρωτοπόρες
ιδέες τους. Η βραδιά
δεν θα μπορούσε
να κλείσει καλύτερα
παρά μόνο με τον
μοναδικούς Phase Reverse,
την μπάντα που εισήγαγε
τον όρο Ηeavy Rock στην Ελληνική
σκηνή, ένα αξεπέραστο
πάντρεμα Blues, Heavy Metal και
Southern Rock. Οι Phase Reverse έχουν μια
πολύ καλή παγκόσμια
πορεία μιας και
τα τραγούδια τους
πολλές φορές συμπεριλήφθησαν
σε συλλογές
πέραν απο την κυκλοφορία
του πρώτου album τους
παγκοσμίως. Μετά
από μια αλλαγή
στο Line-up τους θα ανέβουν
στην σκηνή του Επτά
για δεύτερη φορά
για να μας ξεσηκώσουν
