Alrealon Musique would like to invite you with us to take a trip Arouuunnd the World in 30 Days (or so…)! This September will prove to be an exciting and fun filled adventure for Alrealon Musique that the whole family can enjoy! So load up the pick-up truuuk, pack up dem kiddies, get a full tank of gas, grab a couple slim jims…and lets hit the road!

First stop is merry old England to experience the new Murmurists release ‘I Cannot Tell You Where I am Until I Love You’ (ALRN049). Quite an interesting way to start out the journey I’d say!…turns this whole adventure into a bit of a fun scavenger hunt for the spirit when you start it like that, eh?! This album is truly like getting to go to the coolest theatre experience EVER inside the confines of your own mind. It is filled with different characters, settings, and moods complete with a killer soundtrack to boot! Compelling and full of anticipation for what is next to come, the manner in which this dialogue is presented pulls you deeply in and allows you to create your own visual experience of the story told. This 45 minute long composition combining spoken word with musique concrete, electro-acoustic and industrial elements is the love child of Anthony Donovan and at least 14 other collaborators, some of whom performed their parts in isolation without any knowledge of the final product of their efforts. Can you say COOL?!?! It took over 2 years to make and was recorded in England, Germany, America, Turkey AND Canada! This very special piece of work, which is really an entire trip in itself, is being made available to YOU by Alrealon Musique on September 2nd! ‘Anthony Donovan is an artist, musician, composer, improviser and writer based in England. He works solo, either as Murmurists or under his own name, and is associated with projects such as Destroyevsky, Ou_pi Golgotha.undead, Ampersand, the.clinamen and Spidey Agutter. An ardent collaborator, he has worked with the likes of John Zorn, Jochen Arbeit, Geoff Leigh, PAS Musique, Steve Beresford and Damo Suzuki. Donovan co-curates the respected labels Classwar Karaoke and suRRism-Phonoethics with Jaan Patterson. His interests are all either obscure or opaque, but morally authentic.’ I cannot express enough how fricken COOL this composition is to listen to. You can buy it here! http://alrealonmusique.bandcamp.com/album/i-cannot-tell-you-where-i-am-until-i-love-you-alrn049

Also available to you on September 2nd is a release by ME, Rasplyn! http://www.alrealonmusique.com/rasplyn.html What could be more exciting than that?!  My single, ‘Priestess of the Goddess’ (ALRN044), is my very first release with Alrealon Musique and is made up of 2 tracks from my forthcoming album, which will be released in 2014. These 2 tracks are influenced by the music and culture of places as far east as India and Israel. My tracks are heavily based in classical composition of the cinematic style and inspired by world mysticism and fantasy. I create dark and beautiful landscapes that I like to say are the result of my past-life experiences, a peek into the process of my evolution as it has taken me across the globe. My style of writing has been transforming to include more vocal elements as I have been developing my solo project. ‘Yetzer Ra/Derech Hashem’ is the second collaboration between John 3:16 (Drone/Electronics/Noise) and I. Our collaborations mix his guitars and beats with layers of my clarinet and vocals to create ambient drone pieces laced with sacred stillness. So sit back, relax and enjoy the magical journey! It will be available here! http://alrealonmusique.bandcamp.com/album/priestess-of-the-goddess-alrn044

Later on in September you can continue to gallivant throughout Europe with JOHN 3:16 who will be kicking off a tour with Insect Ark! JOHN 3:16 is the solo project of Philippe Gerber, former bassist of Heat From a DeadStar, and head honcho of Alrealon Musique! His music explores religious themes and ideologies without saying a word, but by creating deep and dark layers and slowly building ambient landscapes that visually describe not only heaven and hell, but more specifically the luring beauty and intensity that both good and evil equally carry and the struggle that it is to choose between them. He builds his landscapes with driving guitars and bass, heavy beats and the occasional vocal cry out to God from inside of his infernal dilemma. He will be performing tracks from his first full-length album ‘Visions of the Hereafter –Visions of Heaven, Hell and Purgatory’ (ALRN033)

Insect Ark is the solo project of Dana Schechter, formerly of Bee & Flower and Michael Gira’s (Swans), Angels of Light. This year she released a 10” EP, ‘Long Arms’ via Geweih Ritual Documents
http://insectark.bandcamp.com/album/long-arms-10. Her music is a dark, droning and driving cinematic mixture of heavy beats and bass grooves mixed with a hot south western twang added by lap steel guitar. ‘Insect Ark’s live shows are ferocious. Dana samples, layers and triggers loops like a one-woman orchestra, guiding the sound through quiet passages and blaring crescendos’. Check out her music video for ‘Long Arms’ here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m69Ug1Hjvqc&feature=c4-overview&list=UUzqQpBw5NbGkZLVpmAENy2g
You can first find Insect Ark in Berlin, The Czech Republic and Slovakia, August 30th – September 8th playing with Unkilled Worker and then joining JOHN 3:16 on September 11th in Lorraine, France followed by the Zikametz Festival on September 12th. The gruesome twosome will then make their way through Hanover, Dusseldorf, Castricum, Gent, Brussels, Lille, and Paris until September 21st. This will be an awesome show & tour! One not to miss!
