Greg Diamond

Hi Everyone,

Just got back from tour in Spain, musically everything went really well.  Played at some great rooms like Bogui in Madrid, Jimmy Glass in Valencia, and La Bilbaina in Bilbao with some tremendously talented musicians.  Many thanks to: Ariel Bringuez, Reinier 'El Negron" Elizarde, Martin Leiton, Santi Dela Rubia, Marceli Bayer, and most importantly my friend, and extraordinary drummer, Jeffrey  Fajardo.

Here's a little clip from our last concert in Bilbao:

Thanks go out Chevi Martinez, Dick Angstadt, Juanma Cantos, Gorka Reino, and Jota for making us all feel welcome and at home at their clubs.

Jose Antonio Lopez (Lupo) from tomajazz wrote an eloquent review of our concert at Jazzazza in Murcia.  If you understand Spanish, you can check it out here:

It's good to be back in NYC and I'm really looking forward to performing with the band tomorrow December 9th at The 3rd Annual Nublu Jazz Festival .

"Greg Diamond I consider to be one of the most exciting guitarists that I have heard in years. Although well established in his native New York City outside of the big apple he is largely unknown. With this release I am sure he will gain the attention of the international jazz world that he deserves."  — Johan Van Deeg, Dutch Jazz Times
"Diamond continues to explore and refine a distinctive modern sound, and Conduit serves as the perfect vehicle for interpreting his take on fusion, Latin and other modern sounds that comprise the jazz spectrum. One thing is certain: this a varied musical project energized by strong writing and superb musicianship, beginning with Diamond and extending to each member of his band."  — Ed Blanco, All About Jazz
