Folk / Psych-folk / Lo-fi
everybody, just a quick update to tell you about some shows coming up and what else
has been going on. Tomorrow night (4/30) I'll be at the Press Room in Portsmouth,
NH for a split bill with Dover, NH's Winterstar. Show starts at 9 PM with
singer/songwriter Chris Sumner.
Then on Monday, May 9 I'll be returning to The Red Door in Portsmouth
for their Hush Hush, Sweet Harlot series with New York's Ladycop and London's Cats
and Cats and Cats.
Also on July 30 I'll be playing at the second annual Wyman's
Pond Music Fest in Westminster, MA with several great bands.
In other news I've been working
on new songs for a new project with Almanac Mountain keyboard player, uke player
and engineer Brian Emond. We're calling our project The Helicopter Fund and
are currently working on songs for an EP.
Thanks for being fans, enjoy the springtime,
and I hope to see you at some shows!
"Almanac Mountain...creates so much blissful noise in such a confined space it's
a wonder he's able to make it all happen by himself." Christopher Hislop,
The Portsmouth Herald
"...feels like a modern
Paul Simon — a hefty compliment indeed and one that I would not give lightly.
That would be disingenuous and I hate disingenuous assholes." Folkhive
"...the undertow from "So Many Seas,"
sucks you right in and keeps you spinning the record over and over again." Christopher
