Hey guys - Here's the run down for the near future  (Painkillers?... don't think narcotics... think ibuprophen)

Thursday - April 11th - 12 W. Elm Nightclub  from 8:00 - 12:00 and every second Thursday in May and June. This is a great little listening room and for our first night we'd love to make a good impression. Doug Lofstrom on the upright bass, Mike Levin on Tenor sax, soprano sax, clarinet and flute and we might even encourage Gilmary Doyle-Andrews to sit in on a set or so. Folks in the immediate neighborhood who've been asking when we'll be close by....Well, here it is.

Wednesday - April 17th - Underground Wonder Bar from 8:00 - 10:30 at 710 N. Clark - So, if you miss the 12 W. Elm gig this is just 6 days later. This time we have drums and a great Telly playing guitarist sitting in for the evening. Doug is on bass, Brian McDermott is drumming and singing great harmony along with Gilly and David Nekola is the monster guitarist. You don't want to miss this and again... support in these early days of our climb to stardom is essential.

Friday - April 19th - Cigars and Stripes …. I think from 10:00 - 12:00 but check back with me - 6700 block W. Ogden - This is a great bar and all the smoking (other than the music) is done outside so don't let the name scare you. We're the quartet of Brian, Doug, Gilly and yours truly for sure but you can never tell who's going to be sitting in.

Friday - April 26th - Sitting in with Val Leventhal's band at The Gallery Cabaret from 7:00 - 9:00 - 2020 N. Oakley, Chicago... just me but looking forward to trying to keep up with this bunch. My old friend Alpha Stewart will be on the drums... and Val has that super songwriting and the voice to back it up.

Thursday - May 9th - 12 West Elm Nightclub again

Saturday - May 11th - Eastgate Cafe 7:00 - 10:30 - 100 Harrison Street in Oak Park - This is my old haunt. Got the trio for sure... and as usual, anyone's guess who might be sitting in.

Saturday - May 18th - Oak Park Festival all afternoon centered around the Eastgate Cafe... this is going on all day and I'm not sure who I'll be playing with because tons of friends of the Eastgate show up and hey, it's a festival.

Thursday - June 13th - 12 W. Elm Nightclub again. By this time the place shoud be mobbed. wink. wink.

"One patron said, "They are so very talented... I can't remember the last time I enjoyed myself so much." Another said, "Breathtaking and absolutely outstanding, well-crafted musicians, obviously at the top of their game." It was a great opportunity for family and friends to be exposed to such spine-tingling atmospheric music. Thanks for all the extras that made the performance truly extraordinary."  Barbara Marik, Shaumburg Township District Library

"The comment I heard most often was "Wow!" Many people have approached me and asked when I can have the band back for another performance. I want to thank you for adjusting your performance to our audience and working so well to make the program one of the most successful in our thirteen year history of performances."  Raymond E. Laisy, Wayne County Historical Society

"We were lucky enough to welcome these excellent musicians who play many blues oldies, done in a whole new style that is very entertaining and fun. The original compositions were excellent. I found the band to be real crowd pleasers. Our audiences are used to musicians of the highest caliber and Lance Brown and friends were no exception highly entertaining to all who attended. Great show, great performers, No hesitation in recommending them to concert organizers everywhere."  Helen Stewart, Barrington Area Library
