Merry Christmas!! It’s been an amazing year.  So many incrediable things have happened and I am very, very grateful.  I recently returned from Toronto where I performed as one of six featured vocalists for the women in blues revue. It was an incredible experience.   All of the women, aside from being insanely talented, were also really loving, accepting and supportive of each other. I had never experienced this level of support between female artists before.  It didn’t feel like a competition at all.  It felt like an offering of love and gratitude.

We’ve also had a great photo shoot with artist/photographer Brittany Santos.  The pictures and CD cover art are coming along really well. This CD is going to be darker, sexier and I’m very excited about it!! For the Photoshoot I had my hair done by Kenny from RA.  He is AMAZING!!!  And I just love him to bits.  If you want an amazing stylist, go to him!!!

We have cool shows coming up:

 

First, come on down to the FireSide Steakhouse & Grill in the Plaza Hotel to enjoy some acoustic blues, jazz and Christmas songs with Sabrina Weeks,  Mike Hilliard and special guest Terry Strudwick.  The show will be on December 14^th and 15^th and goes from 8pm until 11pm.  No cover. $10 minimum purchase required.   Come down and sing along to your favorite Christmas songs.  Wear a Santa hat and get entered into a draw for 2 free tickets to the Sabrina Weeks and Swing Cat Bounce CD release party scheduled for March 2^nd and a copy of our new CD when it is released.

 

Next, for New Years Eve, Sabrina Weeks and Swing Cat Bounce are playing at the Vernon Jazz Club in, where else, Vernon, BC.  If you haven’t ever been to the Vernon Jazz Club, you must make the trek.  The atmosphere is incredible.
