To the great people of Portland, the Pacific Northwest and the greater global arena-

We are back. After a slew of private shows, out of towners and the like, we're back to the old stomping grounds of PDX. And we couldn't be more excited! We've got a special one lined up for you this time around, too. It's a true tried and true venue, with history on it's side: Jimmy Mak's! Yes siree, it's gonna be a good one.

We'll be joining a few friends for the evening and it's an EP release to boot. The Train Wrecks will be closing the night of fun which means two wonderful things: 1) You get to stay up past your bedtime for a reason, and 2) Most likely you'll be many adult beverages into the evening when we play.

Here's the skinny jeans:

Friday, Nov. 9th, 2012

9pm - The Jake Okenberg Band (featuring BTW guitarist Jeff Koch and BTW bassist Amanda Breese!)

10pm - The Brian Copeland Band, EP Release (featuring BTW guitarist Jeff Koch!)

11pm - The Beautiful Train Wrecks (featuring...well, all the members of BTW...including Jeff Koch!)

Jimmy Mak's
221 Northwest 10th Avenue  Portland, OR 97209

Cost: $10 (That's less than the price of a movie these days, what a deal!)

We've got a few surprises in the way of tunes, for you too, so it'll be one you won't want to miss...or, you'll be sad to miss...and most likely feverish if you miss it too.

We hope you can make it. It's been nearly 6 months since we've played a public show in Portland and we're all pretty excited!

PS. Get out & Vote if you haven't yet -- you can write us in, even! Man, what a country...

"The Beautiful Train Wrecks not only have the best name in alt. country since Whiskeytown but with debut album Rainy Day Parade, they’ve also managed to craft a pretty fine collection of songs. Eleven confident, solid tracks are on display here and it is certainly all killer and no filler … intelligent, precise and superbly executed."  Michael B., Leicester Bangs, U.K.

"One of Portland’s best roots bands, the harmonically charged Train Wrecks sound like Buck Owens if he was hired to play his ex-wife’s next wedding. Happy on the outside and playing like it, but carrying a load of heartache within."  Rob Cullivan, Portland Tribune

"The band packs a bag full of clever tunes."  Jeff Rosenberg, Willamette Week
