It's me, Chris! Remember me? ;-)
sure hope so because despite my long hiatus, I have not forgotten you. So a big
Happy, happy summer!!
I am so glad it's finally
here. What a long winter and even spring we have had in the alps. It's been raining
non-stop. Our garden is flooded! In fact, we just left the lovely city of Innsbruck
for the more quaint and quiet Mils. We are now living right at the foot of the alps
in the woods. It's pretty magical and we are very, very grateful. My new running
trails are nothing short of amazing -- look:
I hope this finds you all
smiling somewhere outside -- in your garden, on the trails or just sitting on your
lovely sunny deck where ever you are in the world... ♥
am excited to announce I have found my way back to my music. :)
I won't be touring non-stop like I used to (admittedly, I never want to be
either), but I have found a way to not only enjoy music again, but once again make
it my living. After all, it is my calling in life, so I guess it was only a matter
of time till I found my way back. :) I also have to credit all of you, my wonderful
friends, family and fans which I also consider friends. You have stuck by me with
through the years, good and bad, performing or not. Thanks again.
if you haven't already been there, I've designed and worked on a new website. It
was all done pretty fast, but I'm happy with it. What do you think?
am also back to teaching voice and guitar (if you're in Tirol, give me a call!),
but holding music business workshops such as networking, guerilla marketing and
more. In addition, I'm also offering my popular songwriting (in English) retreats
again as well as many other side projects, including a weekly residency playing
in Innsbruck. More on that later though.
If you're in Tirol or want to
be, join us for one of our many workshops or just come say hi! This winter 2014
I'll be offering a week-long songwriting workshop in the alps. This will be open
to anyone and everyone from around the world, so make a note of it if you're interested.
Some famous songwriters will be attending :) and many more goodies up my sleeve.
you want to read more or are in the area and would like to come say hi, go here
first, my company website: http://www.TheMusiciansStudio.com
With that said, I'm most excited about returning to the
With the help of some wonderful friends old and new, I am in
the process (as we speak) of booking little tours throughout Europe -- some
of which will include my family along for the ride. :)
I'll be performing here in
the alps again next month (July) as well as a weekly residency in town. More
info on the residency later though.
Next weekend, you'll find
me in Vienna performing on an organic farm. Fresh, organic food and fun for everyone.
I sure hope you can join us, this is going to be a special one.
self-professed hippy, this is RIGHT up my alley! Can't wait!
In July, I'll be hosting
a secret garden concert on my birthday (email me if you'd like
to reserve a limited seat) and August will find me touring Germany
w/ a fellow songwriter/friend for a week.
Also, If you can
help us with our Germany tour, please send me a private message. We are looking
to fill some dates -- the tour will be this August. This includes art centres/theatres,
house concerts, you name it...
I have a few UK concerts
on the books already, beginning September 21st.
would love to fill the week though (my family will be me part of the time) so am
now searching for house concerts, art centers, churches, cozy cafes, any alternative
venues, co-shows w/ other songwriters, radio shows to support the local shows &
media coverage. Please let me know if you can and want to help and we can go from
there, including what I can do for you.
The map is still quite open.
;) Send me a private msg.
Really looking forward to
playing live again and cannot wait to see you!!
I'm really scared to get
back on the horse, but I know it's time. My heart and my dear father in my dreams
tell me so. <3
p.s Don't be surprised if my 3-year old turns up on stage to
sing a few with me. She is quite the musician in the making -- on her own accord.
She's writing little songs with her guitar, mostly about our dog Buddy, dada, mama
and nana -- that's what she calls the women in life. :) I guess it's in her genes.
Thank you for always supporting me. It means
everything to me.
And just like the
old days, here is my quote for the month:
You can only become truly
accomplished at something you love.
Don’t make money your goal.
pursue the things you love doing and then do them so well that people can’t
take their eyes off of you.
