FEATURED EVENT: My girlfriend, Ana Lisa and I are debuting our new duo, "DaNalisa - Jazz and Love" at the Plaza Club this Fri., 2/22, 6:30-9pm! Ana Lisa is a great singer who does jazz, Latin, and many other styles, and also plays percussion. She graduated cum laude from the prestigious University of North Texas School of Music, and led and performed with many bands and did lots of recording sessions in Dallas before moving to Hawai`i about a year ago. I'm doing a steady solo gig at "53 By the Sea", at the site of the old John Dominis restaurant, 53 Ahui St. in Honolulu! , playing a brand new Fazioli piano and doing some singing, too! Beautiful place, great piano, nice people! I’m in the lounge, so if you don’t want to go for a full-on dinner, can just have drinks, and /or smaller dishes off the regular or bar menus...
