Hello, and Happy Spring
from HUMAN WHEELS - Playing the Music
of John Mellencamp.
It's time to break out of hibernation!
Our gig at Penn's Peak (Jim Thorpe, PA) opening
for Hollywood Nights
was a big success! We were received by the audience with incredible enthusiasm,
and told by management that they have never seen an opening act garner so much excitement.
We had them cheering for more, out of their seats and dancing along to Mellencamp's
catalogue! It was a wonderful experience for us, and we hope to return there.
We have some great gigs on the horizon,
and have been reworking our show. New songs have been added, and some favorites
have been reworked. For those of you who missed our PA show and are unable to travel
to Virginia this summer, we will be debuting our revamped show in Garwood, NJ at
Crossroads, a nice
local venue, coming up in April. Be the first to hear our new material during our
90 minute set, and let us know what you think! See the link below for more details!
There are more gigs to be announced soon, so be sure and bookmark our website
for more info as it becomes available:
While you're there,
order a t-shirt or two (click on the "STUFF" tab) and help show your support!
They're not your usual run-of-the-mill band shirts. Men's shirts are double sided
pocket tees. And for our female fans, we have special woman and junior cut shirts,
also double sided. (Don't ya just hate those "unisex" cut tshirts,
ladies?) Also available are tote bags and "Little Pink House" seed
packets, just in time for Spring.
Cross your fingers for the warm weather,
and hope to see y'all soon!!
