and Autopsy. The band was chosen to headline the Rock The Bike stage along with

Slaughter By The Water 3 is pleased to announce the addition of the almighty Exodus
as this year's main stage headliner! The main stage will also include performances
by Philm, Severed Fifth, Absu, Witchaven, Impaled, Autopsy, Fog of War and Abysmal
Dawn. The Pier stage will include performances by Enemy In Peril, Desecrator, Necrosin,
Hemotoxin, Ulysses, Siren, Scars of Envy and ZH. A video of Bay Area thrash legends
Testament announcing Exodus as the headliners is online now and can be viewed at
this location.
The third annual Slaughter By The Water event will take place on August 25, 2012
on the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier in Alameda, CA. Sponsored by Monster Energy Drink,
Lock & Shock, Rock The Bike, Bay Area Rocks, Scion, Native American Health Center,
Dunlop, Anchor Bay Tattoos, Ustream, and Expressions College. The event is hosted

Jersey Notes: Scars Of Envy, Killcode, Negative Sky and More!
One band that really impressed the hell out of me at Summer Jam in Englishtown, NJ
a couple of weeks ago was a band out of Bayonne called Scars Of Envy. I’ve
seen these guys on a bunch of bills on the scene but I’ve never seen them
live, and the funny thing is that I’ve been Facebook friends with singer Ethan
Murphy forever. Scars Of Envy was a tasty little surprise for me filled with bone-crushing
guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and a commanding screamer on songs like “Communion
(In Black),” “Smear,” and my favorite track, “Bred To Conquer.”
The riff on this song just kills! They kind of reminded me of Meshuggah.
Scars Of Envy was put together by guitarist Jeff Anthony and bassist Greg James,
but they didn’t remain just a duo for long because they quickly solidified
