coming Saturday, I'm doing a special performance at a very unique venue, Anam Cara
Living Arts Studio & Gallery in Lakewood. A new CD is in the planning
stages and with the passing of Imbolc on February 1 (Celtic/pagan holiday marking
the first stirrings of spring) I thought this would be the perfect time to share
these new songs and the stories behind them - sort of a tilling of the soil before
the seeds are actually planted event. Producing a new CD is a pretty overwhelming
undertaking at this point in my life, but like many things, if you wait until the
perfect time, it'll never happen. So, I'm hoping that the Universe and some
of its most miraculous expressions (that would be YOU!) will support me in the birthing
of this creative "child."
first step is intention and I can think of no better way to set this intention than
to share these songs with you in this intimate and extraordinarily creative environment.

The Belmar neighborhood
is a relatively new development on the southeast corner of Alameda and Wadsworth.
Filled with many dining and shopping options, it's a great place to wander about,
window shop, and have dinner before strolling over to the gallery for the
show. I hear there's some other holiday later next week that involves gifts
and dining, so maybe you can get some shopping out of the way or, better yet, celebrate
that holiday with dinner on Saturday rather than the night when everyone will be
dining out. Just a thought... ;-) You can browse directories of all
the businesses in the neighborhood here: www.belmarcolorado.com
Hope to see you there!
