Earth's Hangtown Halloween Ball
October 26-28, 2012
40 minutes from Sacramento |
1 hr from Lake Tahoe
One of the many great pleasures of Hangtown
Halloween Ball is the extended expression of spirited costumery along with the
three jam-packed days of music. Dress to impress at Hangtown
and if you need inspiration this year's themes are:
Friday, October 26th - GOLD RUSH ZOMBIES: Think Grizzly Adams from the grave - spooky outlaws, saloon
keeps, bar maids and migrants with golden aspirations. Don your best western wear
and gold rush stylings with a touch of ghoulishness for a tribute to Placerville,
aka Hangtown, the historic hub of the California Gold Rush.
Saturday, October 27th - MONSTER MASH-UP: Get your creative juices flowin' here! Create your own
combo costume of two pop culture characters. Is that a Norma Gene Simmons, Lil Jon
Fishman or Fat Albert Einstein in the crowd? The possibilities are endless!
Sunday, October 28th - SLUMBER PARTY: Roll right out of your tent, slap on those bunny slippers
and hit the main stage! We're keeping it real and encourage you to wear your
most comfortable Sunday best for a day full o' bluegrass and bathrobes.
