I have my first paid published writing!

Some of you may know I've been writing some articles for Full Circle Magazine here in Cape Town, but I've just had my first paid writing published on one of my favourite travel websites, Matador Network! It's a piece on where to catch good indie-folk music in Cape Town. Check it out!

A PR agency in Hollywood recently got in touch with me

This is not a joke, hehe:). A few days ago a little PR agency in Hollywood got in touch to say they might be interested in representing me. Checked them out and they're the real deal! No more for now, but watch this space...Nate Maingard hits Hollywood;)! Hehe:D.

• 12 July is at Jackal & Hide in Cape Town, with Lucy Kruger opening, she's AMAZING!
• 20 July at Blue Gecko in Fish Hoek, with some incredible opening acts!
• 21 July at my house Pincushion Cottage, Scarborough. Gorgeous intimate cadlelit music and soup. Booking ESSENTIAL (email natemain@gmail.com)
• 26 July at Obviouzly Armchair in Observatory, playing a double bill with the insanely talented Miles Sievwright!
• 28 July unconfirmed final gig in SA (this is gonna be a big one).

Flying overseas

On 07 August I fly to California. I've got family and friends there I will be visiting...and from there, who knows. I hope you'll stick around and stay connected with me, you are such an integral part of my journey forwards!
