Boyd Tinsley, the multi-talented violin/mandolin
player for the DMB took a year off to make this riveting new feature art film -
FACES IN THE MIRROR.
The film has no script, it is 100% improvised and
the actors have very few spoken words. Tinsley's musical score (which will get your
heart pumping!) is the driving force behind this dark and meaningful film. The concept
delivers an inspiring message, a "journey to forgiveness".
Tinsley will jam live on state with a lucky local Portland band (stay tuned to
find out who!!) he has never met before, improv style, showing that unity and togetherness
can be achieved anywhere. He will be giving a talk and Q&A after the performance.
" Portland producer Rob Stroup, the accomplished producer/singer-songwriter...
first came to popular attention in Oregon with his alternative country band The
Baseboard Heaters which transitioned him to a successful music career. These days
Rob spends his time recording other artists’ music at his 8 Ball Studio and
playing in his band Rob Stroup and The Blame. " Stephanie Salvey, Oregon Music News
