I don't try to play my originals out very much these days,
but I'm filling in for a friend this Friday at Jax. I'm quite looking forward to it.
Buffalo Speedway and I will play 2 hours worth of songs that I've written with him,
Sam Arnold, Andrea Perry and others. Sam Arnold will come by and play guitar
on whatever he feels comfortable playing with no rehearsal. Jax has turned into
quite a popular music venue and the sound is really nice. $10 cover. Y'all come! Kaliyo update:
I'm really proud of the new batch of songs. Andrea has been slowly feeding
me mixes. I'm posting them here for preview,
as they come in. Jitterbug Vipers: Lot's
of great shows coming up. We'll be in Oregon for 8 shows July 28 - Aug 4! Tell your
friends! We still have a couple of holes in our schedule, if you know anyone
in Oregon who would like to host a house concert. Based on the popularity of
the tune I wrote with Slim called 'Viper Moon'. I've decided to write an
album's worth of Jazz/Viper originals for the Jitterbug Vipers to record after we
break even on the new CD, 'Tell 'Em Joe Sent You'. I'm writing with Slim,
Kris Wade from 'The Ghosts Along The Brazos' and the Hidy Hidy Hos have written
a new song called, 'How do you know if you're a Hidy Hidy Ho.' Please download Viper Moon here
