Leap The Dips  |  Monterey, MA

Here we are in the dead of winter, but it's not too early to think about spring... and LTD is going to have a busy one!

We'll be kicking off March with a show at the Marketplace in Sheffield, MA on Friday the 8th.  The venue was so pleased with our recent show at their cafe in Pittsfield that they booked us for the Sheffield location, and then back at their Pittsfield venue on April 11th.  The food is great at the Marketplace, so if you're in the area, come on down and join us!

Speaking of April, it's looking like the rest of March is going to be devoted to LTD recording our first EP, because we'll want to have it available for the slew of shows coming up the following month!  Starting off on Thursday, April 11th at the aforementioned Marketplace in Pittsfield, we'll be following that up with a big show at the famed Gypsy Joynt in Great Barrington, MA on Saturday the 20th.  That's one of our favorite venues, and that date also happens to coincide with the birthday of LTD guitarist John Prusinski, so it's going to be a major party!

We'll be rounding out the month of April with a long-awaited gig at Hops & Vines in Williamstown, MA on Saturday the 27th.  We haven't been back to Williamstown since we rocked the Summer Sundays Festival last summer, so it's great to get back there!

And on a final note... for those of you who've been asking when you're going to get to see the video from the TV show we taped in December...  it appears the answer is: never!  The producer apparently lost the recording, and they don't have a backup (I know, right?).  However, they've apologized profusely and implored us to give them another chance, so we're now booked for a re-shoot in August.  We'll keep you in the loop on how that goes!

As always, thanks for supporting independent music.  Hope to see you at a show soon!

"This group combines six or seven different influences into what sounds like the musical equivalent of an outlaw movie. Upbeat, with southwestern sounding guitars and ominous lyrics." — Amanda, Ten Miles

"It's hard to believe this excellent indie rock band exists right here in the Berkshires!  The songs are fun and carry so much substance you still won't believe they're a local band.  Leap The Dips is another band you need to catch when you can because one day we'll catch up with what everyone out of the area knows, this band is great!" — Andy Poncharello, Rebel Sound Records
