I received word that one of my songs wil be included in a Memorial Day-themed
episode of the "Down Jersey" radio program this week. The message,
from DJ Jim Albertson, reads:
"I will be playing, "Heartbeat Lullaby" on 5/30/13
on the Down Jersey Radio Program on WVLT 92.1 FM Vineland N.J. Thursday evening
from 9:00-10:00 PM EST USA and heard throughout the Delaware Valley including all
of Southern N.J. PHILADELPHIA and parts of Eastern Pennsylvania, Wilmington and
parts of Northern Delaware and parts of Eastern Maryland and streamed online at
link with a 24/7 archive on demand at link/downjersey "
is one of five songs on an EP I released years ago called "Remember Me:
New, Original Folk Music for the American Soldier." All five songs can
be streamed at MySpace ( www.myspace.com/dommusicforthetroops ) or purchased
on CD or digitally at retailers like iTunes and Amazon ( www.domrocks.com/buycds.html ).

And now, some sad news.
The original Coffee Works Roastery & Cafe in Voorhees, N.J. -- the venue I've
played more than any other over the past 11 years -- has closed. Bankruptcy
proceeedings are taking place, and the venue might reopen under new owners and terms.
Everyone there treated me well, and I'm sorry to see it go. Perhaps it will
be temporary, and we'll gather there again someday.

I wish you a fine end of
Spring and a wonderful start to your Summer! Until next time, cheers ...

"The bucket-hatted balladeer
with the sandpaper voice." Jim Six, Gloucester County Times (Woodbury,
"He's got that balladeer Shawn Mullins thing to him, and a cool, gravely
voice like Tom Waits." Mark Rogers, WSTW 93.7 fm (Wilmington, Del.)
