Hi Everyone!  Sorry for the broken links!!! Here it is again....

At last, our long promised sophomore release titled, "Heart Like a Wheel," has finally arrived!  We are so proud of this project and are excited to share it with YOU!  This new CD is a bit of a divergence for the band with featured electric guitars, organ and drums. However the feel and sound are familiar keeping the mandolin, banjo, fiddle and unique blend of vocals from Bill and Shell.  It’s Honey Don’t all right, with just a bit more production.  At least as much as the songs asked for.

Guests include Betse Ellis, renowned Ozark fiddler with KCMO’s Wilders. Betse plays fiddle on two of the 9 songs and if you know her music her fiddling is immediately recognizable and perfect for the songs she plays on. On organ, lap steel and accordion the band enlisted Eric Moon, Denver’s top guy in the Americana realm.  After this we’ll just refer to him as “The Secret Weapon!”  Marc Dalio and Monte Thorin guest on drums when it’s not our other secret weapon, Sticky Mulligan. Bill and Shelley began playing with Joe Smith (AKA Sticky Mulligan) about a year before recording the basic tracks for this record. Sticky’s approach to the drums was exactly what they had envisioned to develop this batch of songs and gave the tunes their identity.  Another regular player in the band, Randall Utterback, provides some fine work on the dobro on “Playin in the Devil’s Electric Band.”  In addition to mixing and mastering “Heart Like A Wheel,” the band’s longtime friend and associate, Colin Bricker at MFP in Denver, built the drum track for Stand Up!  Finally, the artwork on the CD was a collaboration between Honey Don't and graphic artist and friend, Patty Naft.  A team effort that has finally been realized.

Honey Don’t is already working up plans for an EP of more bluegrass oriented tunes to be recorded this winter (2014), but for now we’ll keep busy booking for next year and spreading the new CD to as many ears as possible. Let us know if you think a radio station near you needs our music and we’ll get it out asap!  Thanks again for your continued support and kindness.  We love doing all of this but it wouldn’t mean much without you!

In honor of Veteran’s Day, we are making our song, “Feel Like Going Home” available as a free download all this week.  Just click below to claim your FREE song and be sure to SHARE it with your friends.  Enjoy!
