We kicked off our summer in a big
way dodging fires as we traveled all around the state of Colorado and beyond including
a trip to McCook, Nebraska with the whole family! We played two nights in
a row for the great folks at Sehnert's Bakery and Bieroc Cafe all
the while immersing ourselves in McCook culture. We met the legendary Mr.
Bill who showed us how to twist doughnuts and shoot a blow gun, we learned all about
center pivots and spent time at the community pool. We even had a fan drive
3 1/2 hours from Lincoln to see us after hearing about Honey Don’t on a music
blog out of the UK...what crazy times we are living in now! If you ever pass
through McCook, be sure and stop in and tell them Honey Don’t sent ya!
Tonight we’re excited to return to one of our favorite places to play.....the
Hot Tomato in Fruita! We had an
amazing night a few weeks back when we played for the Town of Fruita’s concert
series in the park and we hope to see some of you out again tonight!
The rest of July has us playing in Telluride, Redstone and Crested Butte for a
few private events. From there we take off with the family for a vacation
throughout Oregon State. We've had so much fun traveling around
with the kids and the new camper stopping along the way to find lots of Colorado
fun and can't wait to do the same in Oregon. Although we don’t
have any shows scheduled on this trip, we’ll be doing some fact finding for
the future and would love to connect with or hear from any friends or fans who live
there! Finally, we’ll wrap up
the trip with a few dates in Salt Lake City. You can visit our calendar for more details.
How are you staying
cool this summer?

CD Update: Although there is no official release date yet, the
recording of the CD is complete and just awaiting the final mix and mastering.
We love the way it’s turned out and are working hard to make it available
just as soon as we can. Stay tuned!

as distinctive and compelling as those of the finest roots outfits extant. Crackling
with life and overflowing with soul, its music rare and true, Honey Don't exalts
the human spirit." Dave McGee, Bluegrass Special
"Great singing and songwriting
that will make you want to get up and dance around the jukebox." Mollie
"...an immediately recognizable sound--a mixture of bluegrass
and old time propelled by some sharply crafted tunes with some real meat on them." Dave
