it has been a wild ride already this year!
Thanks for all the strong support and friendship.
The Mountain Winery St Pattys day show was a huge success! We are working on some
travel gig dates and festivals for later this year. We are off to Groveland for
the weekend this week but back in town at Moss Landing next weekend. We have some
holes in the calendar next month still, really hoping to fill those in or it could
be a challenging month. But im sure things will work out as they always do.
I would end this letter with a twist. Instead of me giving a closing thought. I'd
like to put something in from my oldest daughter. She's being heralded as an "Oracle"
in her neck of the woods. Hope you find it meaningfull as I did.
Alese sent me this email I would like to share with you. I found it very
"I had recently read of the
Dali Lama saying that within the state of enlightenment all things are perfect,
even things that seem imperfect are actually also perfect. My first thought was
that the statement sounded totally worthless and obnoxious. But it stayed with me.
After awhile it sunk deep into my understanding of all things, we naturally
strive for perfection, and often believe that to mean harmony and balance;
everything in its right place. But it is the things that are undone and awful that put
a bee in our bonnet, it is our will to make things graceful in play with things
that are without grace that create the strive for motion of life. It is the very
substance of the progression of all life, the odd number, the things undone.
So, I’d like to thank the Dali Lama for his short and
fluster-inducing statement; his perfect blurb."
