This week we're doing our usual Wednesday with Black Red Black & 1UP at One-2-One Bar, we hit it at 7pm, and then Friday night let your Bastrop people know that we're a comin'!  (9pm is downbeat for that one)

Couple of other goings on - first, apparently we have hit number 2 on the Reverbnation charts for Blues Bands in Austin, which is awesome!  Thank you to all you lovely people for visiting us there and upping our plays/hits etc.

The other news I've already emailed you about, but it bears repeating until everyone has done it - we're in for a shot to play with Eric Clapton at his Crossroads Guitar Festival in New York, but only if we get a ton of people like you clicking the 'add your support' button on our profile page linked above.  If you've done it already, big ups - if not, please go do it right now!  Love you all, thanks!

"Yes, he’s a blues guitarist, but Karl manages to take the blues and blend in generous touches of soul, funk and jazz. Where many blues guitarists fall into a pit of messy licks sloppily applied against a song of angst, Karl’s technique is immaculately clean and meticulous from note to note. Even on the dirty channel, his rich tone rings with musicality. His vocals are only secondary because of the stunning beauty of his guitar work; his voice is smoothly twangy with a rich timbre and slightly rough edge.. ..Karl takes the best of Seth Walker’s amazing tone and musicality, his technique and finesse, and brings in bits of the raw and rough bluesy sounds of Tab Benoit. Blended together in perfect balance, Karl’s guitar work is a poignant work of art for the ears."  Shelley Pillittere, In Search of Betty

"Australian Karl Morgan brings it in a style that blends blues, Americana, and roots with a uniqueness that can only come from taking your own path. He is pure talent that brings pleasant tones and rhythms to his audience in a way that is fresh and new. He is a great addition to the blues music scene in Texas."  Keith Howerton, Sam's Burger Joint Music Hall-Owner., Sam's Burger Joint

"With an undeniable feel and a seemingly effortless knack for agility, this Australian guitarist has no trouble proving that he is no run-of-the-mill blues player."  CDBaby
