Folk / Americana / Roots
Big thanks to
those of you who came out to the Hood River show this last Saturday at the CEBU
Lounge. That was a blast!
am playing a last-minute, rare solo show tonight at The Waypost, opening up for
Randall Payton's Chez Stadium project. Here's the event page that Randall set up, for any of you Facebook
fans. Chez Stadium cranks out cool crunchy pop tunes that stick around after you've
paid your bar tab. I'm excited to finally catch some of their new material in the
hip, cozy basement at The Waypost tonight. I'll be sharing some new material we've
yet to play with the Great Salt Licks.
Here's a link to some of their tunes.
See ya tonight!
WHERE: The Waypost
(3120 n. Williams Portland, OR)
WHEN: 8pm-10pm tonight (4/30)
"There's more to the Portland roots-music scene than an attic full of quaint
old instruments and a Luddite's disdain for amplification. Filtered through the
fine musical sensibilities of performers and writers like Garett Brennan and his
super-group The Great Salt Licks." Mark Steighner, Rediviva Magazine
"Hotter than a July day indeed!
These are songs for our moment in time--and for changing our time" Bill
McKibben, author and activist
"Storyteller, songteller, fictioneer, poet,
troubadour, wandering balladeer...a hymn to and a cry for the American West." Brian
Doyle, Portland Magazine
