GOOD NEWS! - And now for something completely different!
La
st month's double bill with Deanna and Michael @ Studio Bee was rescheduled to Saturday, May 26th!  
This means a small group of lucky music lovers, have another chance to experience this rare night of music.  Michael Dunn and his trio Brighter Lights, Thicker Glasses (BLTG) will join myself and Jane Milliken for a fabulous night of songs. BLTG describe their music as original-folk-pop-swing-Afro-calypso. A night for all Hot Club of Mars fans to hear what Micheal and I do in our musical side projects. Something for everyone in a rare night indeed! 

 

All tickets purchased for the April 26th show will be honoured on this new date. Everyone must RSVP directly to save a seat and recieve the secret address of this very cool East Vancouver studio home.

SAD NEWS - Our Seniors Dance at the Roundhouse on June 8th has been canceled. Hope to do a dance there over the winter holidays so we will keep you posted.

 

In The House Festival - I'm pleased to be invited back as a solo artist, to this wonderful festival that takes place in a variety of homes and back yards in East Vancouver. This is the 9th annual and is always a unique experience with loads of talent in many areas including, music, poetry, comedy, story telling, dance and circus. I will be sharing a set of my original songs with 2 other acts and bringing my pianagal Jane Milliken with me.  There are family friendly shows too...something for everyone. Support your live music scene by joining in the fun of this years In Your House Festival. Our show is  June 2nd @ 2pm. More info HERE.
 

 

Hot Summer Shows for D & the Hot Club of Mars! - We are super excited to be involved in so many fun shows this summer. Look for us at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival - Granville Island on Canada Day ...also Gibson's Jazz Festival, Harmony Art Festival, and Butchart Gardens. Looking to round out our little August Vancouver Island tour with a show on the Saturday, Aug. 18th. Please send any ideas or contacts our way. Details below for all these shows and more!

 

Don't forget the Kino each month - The 3rd Monday of each month at the Kino Cafe on Cambie is always a good time. The band often tries out new material in a relaxed atmosphere and sometimes we all get to enjoy a guest musician or two.
