Some of you have asked about the Denver Dozen show coming up at the Soiled Dove Underground, so here are some answers to the FAQ:

 

What is the Denver Dozen?

It's 12 of Denver's up and coming songwriters performing on one stage for one evening just for you. That means we each get a couple songs to show you what we've got and you get to sample the best of Denver's local singer/songwriter scene without coffee-house hopping!

 

Who are the Denver Dozen?

This is the third Denver Dozen showcase and this time around the dozen are:

Where is the Soiled Dove Underground?

What? You've never been to the Soiled Dove Underground...it's a fantastic venue with a real stage and a great sound system near 1st & Quebec in the Lowry neighborhood.

 

Do they serve alcohol?

Yes.

 

I'm old and/or lazy. Are there seats?

Yes. There are tables and barstools throughout the venue.

 

Can I bring my kid?

No. All shows at SDU are 21 and over.

 

What time do things get started? 

The music starts at 8:00pm sharp.

 

Why should I go?

This is a great way to kill several birds with one stone, not that we're into killing birds, but you know what I meant. This show gives you the opportunity to:

 

-support local artists

-discover your Denver favorites for the 2013 "date night" season. 

-buy your friends and family indie artists' CDs for Christmas gifts

-take friends for a long overdue night out

 

 

How can I get tickets?

You'll have the option to reserve seats or get general admission. It's our guess that everyone will have a seat regardless of their choice, and all seats are good at the Soiled Dove Underground; however, if you have a favorite table, choose reserved seats for you and three of your closest friends.
