I say friends as opposed to "fans", because I still can't quite get
my head around the term fan. As far as I'm concerned, if you have made time in your
busy life to listen to and connect with my music, and you like what I
do enough to want to keep updated on my news, friends we are!
I have two fun and special
concerts coming up in my local area.
This Sunday 14th April at 5pm in the Penrose
Village Hall, I will be holding a concert with two very accomplished alternate-country
artists I met and performed with at Tamworth Country Music Festival this
year, Queenslanders Lou Bradley and Brad Butcher. Lou is an Aria Nominated
country artist with three album releases, and Brad has just released his debut
album, one that can comforatably go down with the best!
Entry is by gold coin
donation and a light supper is included. The Harvest Festival is also on in the
Penrose village that day at the School, so if you're looking for a fun way
to fill your Sunday, look no further!
6pm Saturday 20th April I will perform at
Bundanoon's Ye Olde Bicycle Shoppe as part of a fundraising event to raise money
to for local lady Linda Davis, all proceeds going to her work with war victims of
Sri Lanka and Uganda. She will teach infant massage in Wakisa Girls Refuge
and Sanyu Babies Home in Uganda to mothers, often the victims of rape. This is such
a great cause, and I'm so pleased to be a part of it. The night includes
Champagne and Canapes, tickets are $40 and available from the venue or by calling
Linda on 4883 6506.
Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful Autumn weather, my
